SnackSage AI Privacy Policy

• Account data: name, email address, hashed password.
• Meal data: photos you upload for analysis, dish names, calories, macros, ingredient lists, and any corrections you submit.
• Health profile: weight, height, activity level, dietary preferences — only what you enter, only used to personalize your goals.
• Device data: push notification tokens (only if you enable notifications), platform, app version.
• Usage data: which features you use, error logs, and aggregated analytics.
• Billing data: Razorpay handles all UPI/card data. We store only your subscription status, plan, and Razorpay subscription/payment IDs — never card numbers or UPI PINs.

• Provide the food recognition and calorie tracking service.
• Personalize meal plans and daily goals.
• Send transactional emails (password reset OTPs) and push notifications (meal reminders, trial expiry alerts).
• Improve AI accuracy through opt-in feedback ("Was this correct?").
• Detect fraud and enforce our Terms.

• Google Gemini (via Emergent LLM Key): AI vision analysis of meal photos. Photos are sent for analysis and NOT retained by Google beyond the API call.
• Razorpay: payment processing for Premium subscriptions.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): push notification delivery on Android.
• Apple Push Notification Service: push notification delivery on iOS.
• Open Food Facts: barcode look-ups (queries only, no personal data sent).
• Resend: transactional email delivery for password reset OTPs.
• MongoDB Atlas (AWS, Asia-Pacific region): encrypted database hosting.

Meal photos and log entries are retained until you delete them or your account. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days.

You have the right to: access, correct, delete, port, restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India. Exercise any right by emailing hello@valuequal.co from your registered email, or use our account deletion page.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. We never see your UPI PIN or card details.

SnackSage AI is not directed at children under 13. If you become aware a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Data is stored on servers in the AWS Asia-Pacific region.

Material changes will be announced in-app and via email. Continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance.
